Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how our live music services are requested, quoted, booked and delivered. They also set out the main arrangements that apply between PORT SOUNDS and customers making an event enquiry or booking.
01. Our Services
PORT SOUNDS provides live music performance services for weddings, private parties and corporate events across the UK. Available performance options may include solo singers, acoustic musicians and small live music ensembles.
The exact service provided depends on the performance option selected and the arrangements agreed for the individual event. Customers can contact us to discuss their preferred performance format, timing and requirements.

02. Enquiries
An enquiry allows us to understand what you are looking for and check whether a suitable performer or performance option is available.
Sending an enquiry does not reserve a date or create a confirmed booking. A booking only becomes confirmed after the relevant service details, availability and payment arrangements have been agreed.
We normally aim to respond to enquiries within 3 working days. More time may be required when availability needs to be checked with a particular performer or when an event requires additional arrangements.
03. Booking Requirements
Consultation and event booking requests must be submitted at least 1 full day before the requested date. Same-day consultation and booking requests are not accepted.
Customers should provide enough information for us to understand the requested service. This normally includes the event date, location, approximate performance time, expected duration and preferred music format.
Advance notice is required. Please submit your request at least 1 day before the date you require. Same-day requests cannot be accepted.
04. Availability
Performer availability is checked after we receive the event requirements. We do not guarantee that a particular performer, date or performance format will be available until the booking has been confirmed.
Where the requested performer is unavailable, we may discuss another suitable performance option if one is available. Customers are free to decide whether the alternative meets their requirements before proceeding.
05. Pricing & Quotations
Where a service page displays a starting price, that amount represents the starting price for the relevant service and is not necessarily the final price for every event.
The final quotation may depend on the event date, location, performance duration, performer requirements, music format and other arrangements discussed with the customer.
A quotation remains subject to availability and is not a confirmed booking until the booking arrangements have been agreed.
If the event requirements change after a quotation has been provided, we may need to review and update the quotation before confirming the revised service.
06. Payment
Payment arrangements are confirmed after the service requirements have been reviewed.
Payment information and booking instructions will be provided through our official communication channels after the relevant service details have been agreed.
Available payment methods may vary depending on the service arrangement and customer requirements.
Where payment is required before a booking can be secured, the applicable payment deadline will be communicated to the customer. A booking may remain unconfirmed until the required payment arrangement has been completed.
07. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when the requested service, performer availability, event details and payment arrangements have been agreed.
Customers should not treat an enquiry, initial quotation or availability message as confirmation that a performer has been booked.
Once confirmed, the agreed event details form the basis of the performance arrangement. Any later changes should be discussed with us as soon as possible.
08. Event Arrangements
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the event and notifying us promptly if the venue, timing or performance requirements change.
The venue should provide reasonable access for the agreed performance arrangement. Any venue-specific requirements that may affect the service should be communicated before the booking is finalised.
Performance duration is based on the time agreed in the booking. If the customer requests additional performance time, this will be subject to performer availability and may result in an additional charge.
09. Changes & Cancellation
Customers who need to change or cancel a confirmed booking should contact PORT SOUNDS as soon as possible.
Requests to change an event date should ideally be made at least 5 days before the scheduled performance. A new date is subject to performer availability and is not guaranteed.
If a booking is cancelled, the applicable cancellation and refund terms are determined by the time the cancellation request is received.
- 5 or more days: 100% refund.
- 3–4 days: 80% refund.
- 1–2 days: 40% refund.
- Less than 24 hours: 0% refund.

10. Performance
PORT SOUNDS will make reasonable efforts to provide the confirmed live music service in accordance with the agreed booking details.
The performance may include the agreed performer type, music format, performance duration and timing. Any specific requests should be discussed before the booking is confirmed.
Music selections may be discussed in advance, but availability of particular songs or arrangements cannot be guaranteed unless they have been specifically agreed as part of the booking.
Where reasonable adjustments are needed during an event, we will discuss the available options with the customer where practical.
11. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied to PORT SOUNDS is accurate and complete.
Customers should also ensure that the agreed venue, access arrangements, performance area and event schedule are available and suitable for the confirmed service.
If a customer arrives late, changes the event schedule without agreement, or is unable to provide the agreed performance arrangements, this may affect the performance time or the service that can reasonably be provided.
Any requested changes should be agreed before they are treated as part of the confirmed booking.
12. Disclaimer
We take reasonable care when arranging our services and checking performer availability. However, we cannot guarantee that every requested performer, song, date, venue arrangement or performance format will always be available.
We are not responsible for delays, interruptions or changes resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including venue access restrictions, changes to an event made by the organiser, or circumstances that prevent the agreed performance arrangement from taking place as originally planned.
If circumstances outside our reasonable control affect a confirmed booking, we will communicate with the customer as soon as reasonably possible and discuss a suitable alternative where one can reasonably be arranged.
We are not responsible for arrangements made independently by the customer with a venue or other third party unless those arrangements have been expressly agreed with PORT SOUNDS.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable UK law.
13. Applicable Law
These terms are intended to be used for services provided in the UK and are subject to the laws applicable in the relevant part of the UK.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
These terms do not affect any statutory rights that apply to customers under applicable law.
